Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Review quotes and orders for performance information related to structural, thermal, energy, acoustical, and clear opening performance.

2. Provide support for configuring quotes to meet requested structural performance.

3. Assist with structural steel component details, assembly instructions, and installation instructions per order.

4. Update and submit fabrication data sheets to Kolbe's CRM system to support purchasing.

5. Review, update and verify accuracy of performance labels per order.

6. Become proficient with NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) product performance rating system.

7. Provide NFRC product performance rating for products per order.

8. Become familiar with Energy Star and other energy performance program qualification criteria

9. Provide clear opening values for window and door accessibility and ventilation per order.

10. Update clear opening spreadsheets as needed.

Other Responsibilities and Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent organizational skills and very accurate work product.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to handle multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated, but able to work in team environment.
  • Product knowledge of industry and or Kolbe specific product.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

  • Two year technical degree in Architecture or Mechanical Design or
  • Practical experience, including fenestration business at Kolbe Windows & Doors or competitor, building design and or product component design, code approval and certifications.
  • High school diploma.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
