Kickstarting a Classic

Kickstarting a Classic

The windows original to this classic 1930s house were failing – the glazing was deteriorating, the rope-and-pulley systems were faulty, and the hardware was tarnished. The homeowners decided to replace the windows and doors in their entire home with Forgent Series, which provided much better energy ratings. Plus, stylistic updates of divided lites in the upper sash only and a Midnight exterior color improved the home’s aesthetics and curb appeal.

We had other experiences with Kolbe windows that we had installed in a cabin on Lake Superior and so we understood the quality and trusted the brand.
