WaterColor Beach Club

For the residents of WaterColor, the Beach Club is a great place to relax under the Florida sun. This 45,000 square foot facility includes all the amenities a beach club needs such as a family pool, a children’s pool, locker rooms, and a restaurant. A distinctive looking tower acts as a landmark for this specially-developed town and is the ideal place to take in the spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico.

Glover Smith Bode Architects & Planners designed this building to fulfill the owner's vision. The Beach Club required windows and doors that were not only able to withstand harsh environmental conditions, but also to reflect the picturesque surroundings.

Nearly 50 casements, as well as a dozen outswing entrance and patio doors are found throughout the Beach Club to offer views and let in the ocean breeze. Additionally, the Sand color exterior of the units complement the surrounding color palette perfectly. While the performance divided lites add a traditional touch, the ovolo profile glazing beads and bars on the interior add decorative detailing.  Kolbe’s Ultra Series windows and doors provided the custom solutions and impact modifications needed to give the Beach Club a casual, coastal feel but prepared the building envelope for potentially harsh weather.

From sun-up to sun-down, the WaterColor Beach Club is a high point on this Gulf of Mexico beach location.
