Customized, Personalized Windows & Doors covers customization possibilities for windows and doors. It discusses how specific window and door products, along with a variety of options, can enhance the outcome of a project. Aesthetics and performance will be addressed, and include specifics to each region of the country. This course will also present some truly remarkable client ideas that have become reality.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify and recognize the variety of ways to customize and personalize windows in buildings to meet or exceed energy code requirements and achieve design goals.
- Investigate the design options and details affecting energy performance when specifying different parts of windows.
- Assess the functional contributions of windows as they contribute to green, environmental and sustainable design standards and the health, safety, and welfare of occupants.
- Explore specific applications through case study examples of a variety of successful design projects that meet or exceed code level performance.
